To measure your head for a custom hat, you’ll need a tailor’s tape measure (the soft, flexible kind) and a friend or a mirror to help. Follow the instructions below (or watch the video) and use the chart to convert to your US hat size.
Items Needed:
• Tailor’s measuring tape (with centimeters) or string and a ruler
• Mirror
Steps:
1. Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your head and about a finger’s width above your ears and eyebrows.
2. Write down the measurement in centimeters.
3. Repeat this process until you get the same measurement twice.
